This Manual is published in terms of Section 14 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act 2 of 2000) (“PAIA”) and is made available by World Focus 1724CC to guide requesters on how to request access to records held by the Company.

5. How to Request Access
Requests for access to records must be made in writing to the Information Officer. Your request must include:
- Sufficient particulars to identify the record requested
- Your name, postal address, and contact details
- The right you are seeking to exercise or protect
- Why the record is required for that right
- The manner of access preferred (copy, inspection, etc.)
6. Grounds for Refusal
Access may be refused on grounds including:
- Protection of commercial information of a third party
- Protection of personal information of a third party
- Protection of the Company’s own commercial information
- Privileged or confidential information
7. Fees
The following fees apply to access requests:
- Request fee: R50.00 (for personal requests)
- Access fee: Calculated based on reproduction costs (per PAIA regulations)
8. Appeal
If a request is refused, the requester may appeal to the Information Officer within 60 days of the decision.
